Basalt chips are crushed “clean” basalt rock and free from fines and small particles. Basalt Chips are great for landscape mulching or bedding. The 3/4 inch Basalt makes for an excellent drain rock. The small size allows for quick drainage which makes it an ideal rock for the backfill of a retaining wall.
